Physical Therapy

Recovering from an injury, surgery, or disability can be a long and arduous process. Our physical therapy specialists help you regain your strength, function, and stamina and help you on your road to recovery.

At Prosser Memorial Health, our Physical Therapists work as integral members of our traditional swing bed program, as well as outpatient and inpatient care teams.

Helping People Heal Faster & Live Pain-Free

Improving Strength, Function & Performance with Physical Therapy
Whether you've recently sustained an injury or have been dealing with chronic pain for a long time, physical therapy can be an enormously helpful part of your recovery. Physical therapists not only help you regain the strength you need to function pain-free, but they can also help you establish good body mechanics to prevent further pain and injury.

Physical therapists can help relieve pain and dysfunction for people with:
  • Sports Injuries
  • Neurological Conditions
  • Muscle & Joint Pain
  • Surgery Recovery
  • Repetitive Motion Injuries
  • Lymphedema
  • General Weakness and Risk of Falling

What can I expect from my first physical therapy visit?

Your first visit with a physical therapist will largely be an assessment of your strength, range of motion, and baseline levels of discomfort. You'll also discuss your goals for therapy and the rehabilitation plan going forward—including how often you'll need to be seen, for how long, and what work you'll be expected to do at home.
