Financial Services
We’re grateful that you have chosen Prosser Memorial Health as your healthcare provider. In an effort to minimize confusion around complex hospital billing processes and payment methods, we’ve broken down the PMH financial policies and billing procedures here for your reference.
Online Bill Pay
As an added service for our customers, we offer the convenience of online bill pay. This is a safe, secure portal you can use to pay your hospital or doctor bill. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your Prosser Memorial Health bill, you can speak to a patient financial services representative at (855) 283-9093.
Medicare Claim Filing
If you are insured through Medicare, we’ll take care of filing the claims for you. We’ll also bill your supplemental carrier once we’ve received a payment from Medicare.
Medicaid
If you are currently covered by Washington Medicaid, we will submit your claim to the appropriate program once we’ve verified your eligibility.
HMO/PPO Insurance & Third-Party Indemnity Insurance
Prosser Memorial Health is contracted with most major medical plans. We’ll submit a claim for payment in accordance with the managed care contract. You are responsible for any out-of-pocket deductibles or co-payments.
We will make every effort to verify insurance eligibility and benefits. We will also attempt to obtain authorization in accordance with your insurance company’s policies. However, as the insured, you are ultimately responsible for knowing your benefits.
Please feel free to contact us at Prosser Memorial Health before receiving non-emergent services to ensure that we are contracted with your insurance provider and to determine whether or not prior authorization is required.
Prosser Memorial Health’s Medical Financial Assistance Program
Prosser Memorial Health has always provided financial assistance for those who do not qualify for State Medical Assistance and still need help paying their medical bills.
To apply for medical financial assistance, complete our application. If we determine that your income is within the Federal Poverty Guidelines, financial assistance may be provided. To make certain that applicable resources are offered to these patients, Prosser Memorial Health considers each request individually—a process that will include a review of federal tax returns, current pay stub verification, and denial of any third-party benefits, if applicable.
